Fund-Raising Information |
The $25 registration fee paid by event participants is intended to go directly to the beneficary of the Spin-A-Thon. The cost of putting on the event, and T-shirts given out to participants are provided by money donated by our event sponsors (see Sponsors page on web site). Most of the work to put on the event is done by volunteers, so that most money raised will go directly to the Spin-A-Thon beneficiary . This year that recipient is Daniel's Den Playground (see Benefit Information). Participants are encouraged to raise additional funds by seeking donations or pledges from their families, friends, and work associates. A donor pledge form has been provided to assist participants in this process (click here for donor form). You do not need to hand the donor form in to the Spin-A-Thon when registering. It is for your use only. These additional donations, like the registration fee will go directly to the Spin-A-Thon beneficiary.
